UCSF Familial Endocrine Neoplasia Program

The UCSF Familial Endocrine Neoplasia Program, part of the Endocrine Surgery & Oncology Practice, is a world-renowned institution for the surgical management of familial endocrine tumor/neoplasia syndromes. The types of syndromes we treat include the following:
- Multiple endocrine neoplasia types 1 and 2 (MEN1 and MEN2)
- Familial medullary thyroid cancer (FMTC)
- Familial nonmedullary thyroid cancer (FNMTC)
- Hyperparathyroidism - jaw tumor syndrome
- Familial isolated hyperparathyroidism
- Hereditary paraganglioma-pheochromocytoma syndromes
